ART ANDERLECHT

Art Anderlecht is the maximum creation space for everyone, encounter, and connection. A room for our stories.

Out of a joint initiative, Komplot and Glasgow Studios are organising a parallel program during the art fair Art Brussels by simultaneously setting out an art trail in Anderlecht that will connect different artist activities, collective studios, and non-commercial off spaces in this neighbourhood. Art Anderlecht plunges into the lively cultural landscape of the municipality.
This project aims to connect and activate eight organisations during this weekend in order to stimulate exchange and cross-fertilization between these different initiatives. The walking route makes lesser-known streets or forgotten corners of the municipality visible to the visitor who walks or cycles from location to location, making Art Anderlecht a non-profit, small-scale, accessible, and experimental place.
With Art Anderlecht, we want to introduce the public to the wide range of art and culture growing in the local scene. During the aforementioned event, each participant organises its own event, ranging from open studios to exhibitions, from performances to concerts, and so on.
